Free Mortgage Guides From The Federal Reserve (US)
Two free guides from The Federal Reserve to help someone who is thinking of getting a mortgage.
The first is Called true or false – Know before you go…to get a mortgage. The purpose of this guide is to provide general mortgage information to consumers and to shed some light on the risks associated with todays more complex mortgage offerings.
The second is called the Consumer Handbook on Adjustable rate Mortgages. The purpose of this guide is to explain how adjustable rate mortgages work and some of the risks and advantages they introduce.
These guides can be downloaded from their website for use now, or you can order a copy of each to be sent to you in the mail.

Free Samples from Proctor & Gamble (US)
P&G offers samples and coupons on their site regularly. I’ve posted this before so many of you may already be members. The current samples being offered are Crest 3D toothpaste with whitestrips, Always Maxi, Herbal Essences Hydration Shampoo and many different coupons on P&G products. You can order all of them at once. P&G allows you to order samples and coupons once per quarter after you have signed up.
Free Gardening Products From Gardens Alive (US)
Order a catalog from Gardens Alive and it will come with a coupon attached for $25 off a $25 purchase. I ordered one last year and the coupon was right on the front cover of the catalog. They offer many different products including fertilizer, soil care sprays and a lot more. (US offer)
Reminder – Join Swagbucks to Get Free Stuff
Since I first told you about Swagbucks, about 800 of you have joined. Many of you have already earned gift cards and other prizes for searching the web, finding swagcodes and other ways of earning swagbucks. You are going to search the web anyway, why not earn free stuff while searching. They use Google results for their search engine.
Another tip I would give you is to get your referral code from your swagbucks account page and refer your friends. Put a referral link on your Facebook page, Twitter page, blog, etc. You will earn matching swagbucks up to 1000 per referral. The Swagbucks will add up fast. I have already received free stuff that I ordered using the Amazon gift codes I got from my Swagbucks.

Free 2012 Roadsides in Bloom Calendar (US)
This free calendar is from the State of West Virginia. I got one of these last year when they offered the 2011 calendar and it was real nice. Great scenes from West Virginia. If the website doesn’t work try again in a couple of days. It seems to go up and down a little. The Calendar is really worth getting. (US offer)

Check Out Quibids
This isn’t a free item, but it’s something I have to share with you. For any of you that haven’t heard of Quibids yet you should check this out. It’s a website where you can bid on items with bids starting at a penny. Many of the items go for only a few pennies. I started with it last week and so far I have gift cards to Walmart, Target, Staples, AMC movie theaters and Outback Steak House. The most I’ve bid on any of them is $.13.
You have to buy a bid pack to begin, but then if you bid carefully on the right stuff you can win cheap auctions. They make their money on volume of bids as each bid costs $.60. After your initial bid pack, you can get free bids many different ways. You should check this out. It’s worked well for me so far.

Join Groupon for Big Discounts on Stuff Near You (US,CANADA)
Like me, you have probably been seeing these ads for Groupon on almost every website you go on. I finally bit and went to their website and joined and I’m glad I did so I thought I’d tell you a little about it.
It costs nothing to sign up. Just give them your email address so they can send you the daily offer in your area. If you never use one of their deals, you will never spend a dime. I assume they get paid by the businesses that they feature on their site.
Every day they will send you a different deal you can take advantage of. (I end a lot of sentences with prepositions.) It might be for a local restaurant, local attraction, show or something else. If you want it, purchase the deal. I’ve only purchased one so far. It was $15 for $40 at a local restaurant.
It’s worth joining just to see what deals they send you. There is no spam involved, just one daily email with the deal of the day. Valid for US & Canada.
